there were some FAST 3rd gens at Bowling Green......I wish you guys could have seen them!!!! several were running low 12's in the quarter!!! glad I wasn't lined up against them!!! hahahaha!!!

what did vern and clayton run?

Pretty much the same thing. Track was really aslippery and greasy like. I was spinning all the way thru first gear and on into second while running drag radials (dropping tire pressure to 15 and 20# didn't help much either). A 9.2 was the best I could pull, and the 60 foot times were all 2.1 to 2.2 due to the spinning. If I remember correctly, Clayton's best run of the night was an 8.95 or so, and he trailered his car in and was running full drag slicks at low tire pressures. He couldn't hook it up either.
