J gets to Hooters before M and does not go inside to see if anyone is there yet. M is almost there and gets a phone call from J telling her that she is at Hooters and she is outside smoking a cigarette. So when M gets to Hooters she goes inside and finds everyone else is there, but no J.
She gets a glass of wine and ask were J is, now no one has seen J so they do not know and they have been there for 30 minutes. So after the first glass of wine M gets a second glass of wine and calls J. Well no one answers the phone, so she tries again and still no answers.
So the hero of this story deices that he needs to go out and have a smoke and whom does he see as soon as he gets out the door? Why J that’s who.
So he walks over to her and asks her how long she has been standing there and she tells him 30 minutes.
She also says that she is waiting for M to show up.
Now the hero tells her that M is here already and is on her second glass of wine. And then he asks her why she did not come inside, she knew that a lot of us were going to be there at 7:30 (it’s now around 8:00).
She gives him some lame excuse about not being able to recognize people she knows inside buildings.
So then the hero tells her that M called her twice since she got there and J replies that no she did not. She even shows him her cell phone and it’s not showing any missed calls.
So the hero leads J inside were everyone is at so J does not get lost.
Then he gets to the table were everyone is at he tells M that she must have called the wrong phone number because J never got the calls. Well M brings out her phone to show everyone that she called the right number and when J looks at M’s phone she says that’s not her cell phone # but her home phone number.
The hero later wonders what J will do when she gets home and listens to her answering machine and get M’s message that she is at Hooters. He bets she drives all the way back to Hooters looking for M.
He also wonders why J did not call M to see were she was at, as she was outside Hooters for 30 minutes waiting.
The names in this story have been change, but the story is true.
