I've seen framed stuff like in the engine bay area, etc.
All I have is a copy of the original invoice from the dealership in CA where Tabby came from :)

Then you'll be a step ahead of most of the rest of us! Put it in a cheapie frame from WalMart and prop it under the hood. Most folks don't have those.
As for what else we do, you mean besides going around and gawking at all the other cars, talking to their owners, telling lies about our own cars, making notes on what we might like to try, gaping at the better specimens of the opposite sex hopefully in various stages of undress, and getting sun burnt?

I have never "lied" about my car I even admit that the 5.7 badges are fake and that she is a 5.0. It is sad and I really need to remove them but I figure I will have a 350 in her everntually.

Each of the "Twins" have a "Baby" book that I put out for dis[play. I have their "birth certificates, pictures from the day I brought them home, pics of all the mods, flyers from shows I have attended, pictures of the trophies at each show, window stickers, pictures of the 35th SS logo, build number sheets, Letter of Authenticities, National Street Rod inspection sheets, show entry numbers, appreciation lists, trophy mats, "Cloe", my Coca Cola display bear, the 35th No Parking sign, and many more things relating to them.

WOW! It must take you a few hours and a trailer to haul all that "stuff" to a car show.... :LMAO
Oh, I forgot, you've got a trailer, don't you? And the car goes inside, too, right? They sure are nice cars, but I'm a opponent of "Trailer Queens". Hopefully you still drive yours daily (or close to it).
"Trailer Queens" are almost always impressing looking cars, but I really feel there should be separate categories at shows for "daily drivers". You know, the cars that are actrually used rather than kept hidden in garages, never seen a rain drop or bird dropping, etc. Just my opinion, but I have a heightened level of respect and appreciation for the cars that are out there every day, rain or shine. I wash and wax mine almost every weekend, try to keep up with the occasional door ding (D@MMIT!), etc., and avoid obviously harmful environments when I can, but it still gets used. A lot.
Another reason I probably appreciate those daily drivers is I also can't afford to have a car sitting in storage thatisn't driven or used..... :roflmao:
All that being said - I still love looking at and appreciate all the F-bodies! Plus the Rustang GTs and Cobras, Vipers, and just about any customized or muscle car!!! (excluding R!CE, of course!)

Hmmm...well, Tabby's gonna' be entered anyway. I saw a "People's Choice" award. I just really want the experience.
I agree w/vern on all the above-mentioned.
And, as far as makes, models, etc THIRD GENS will ALWAYS be my favorites.
BUT....I like anything that LOOKS, SOUNDS, and RUNS GOOD. My gawking knows no boundaries... LMBO

My trailer was bought for a "Trailer King", hauling my show supplies, storing a vehicle, and relaxing in while at shows :food: (like the Hulen GTG). My "Trailer King" is a rare 72 Chevy Cheyenne Super SWB with the original matching big block engine and every option Chevy put on the trucks except a cruise control! "Bubba" is a frame up restoration costing me just under $70k. :eeeeK: This truck was bought and is being rebuilt only for shows and until it is sold. :1 I also have a 68 Chevy show truck that I drive when I can get around to putting it in the driving line up! Then there is the 70 Chevy truck that I just sold. :roflmao:
Back to "Trailer Queens", you are right, it isn't fair to take a truck like "Bubba" and put him up against a daily or weekly driver, unless you have judges that will over-look vehicles that are driven compared to one that is a true "trailer queen". :vern:
"Bubba" is nothing but a "toy" and a investment. :Lost it He will be for sale if anyone shows interest in him.
Julie has never been trailered to "any" show (30+) and I drive her when the mood hits me and the weather is nice. :boohoo: Jenny has 6000 miles on her and was trailered to the Hulen GTG only, but she was driven to the last state fair! 8) I do not like driving her. :crap: I have never liked the 6 speed in her or the way she handled. (I doooooo like the 4 speeds that I have owned in the past though! )
I still want a first gen to build for show and racing (driven, unless I overbuild him for the street.)! That is my next project!
I enjoy my cars and trucks, but still try to protect them the best I can. 8)

yep, at car shows you have two types, the gawkers and the gawkees. All gawkees could be gawkers, but definately not all gawkers can be a gawkee. Thankfully we have nice representation on the gawkee side of the house while I firmly anchor our gawker-only side. Balance in the force I see.

Me, too. Some of them look really sharp! Of course, your car looks better than mine so it makes more sense for you to do it. I really think that 99% of the attention my car gets is because of the performance mods, not the appearance, of my daily driver.
Still, I may think about making one of those up some day.....

Vern,...don't take this the wrong way or anything but um..... :slap head: shut up. Your car,..while yes the mods do stick out ..is pimp. Slap that hood down & you car STILL looks pimp. I have always loved the way your car looks & I tend to lean mainly to wards Camaro's. So with that said......
1.Get your sign made
2.Put it on display with your car
3.Turn to wards your car & say,"D@M|\| thats one sexy looking bird
4.Realize then repeat to yourself,...Not bad,..My car is pimp. She has the looks & the speed to match.
Now get to it :whip:
