i was just thinking today that maybe the 4th gen spring perch sits a little higher than the 3rd gen perch because i have a third gen with a 4th gen rear end for the zr1 wheels and the eibachs in the rear didnt seem to do much at all so if i got eibach spring in the rear for a 4th gen do you think that would help at all with the gap cause i am very happy with the front but the rear i would like to drop at least another inch and a half to two inches

The perch on the 4th and the 3rd gens are the same distances to the top of the spring mount. Pro-kits don't do anything at all, sometimes they lift cars back up. The stock springs get worn out and start to sag. They can sag up to 1.5" and sometimes more. When you put in a spring that is only supposed to lower the car .75", you would be .75" taller than the originally was.
You could call eibach and ask them if they would trade the pro-kit rears for the sportline rears, you might like them better, or you could trim them down a little bit. Many people have done this, but the spring becomes stiffer as you cut on them.

You may have to pm him or find his contact number in the classifieds, I haven't seen him checking anything else out lately.
