Hey All,

Just wanted to share the good news. I went down to San Antonio today to race at the strip and landed a new best time.

13.30 @ 107.48 in the 1/4 mile
2.1779 60ft time

To see the car check my website. http://www.scottzimmerman.net/Active%20Pages/gta.asp

Not too shabby man. How's it been running anyway? I remember you telling me you were having problems with it while it was cold.

Everything on it right now knock on wood is 100%..

I just gotta get it to hook up. I am confident that with a good 60ft i can hit high 12's

We had a good night at the track. I set a new best for ET, MPH and 60 FT. 14.25 @ 97.6 2.04 60 FT. The starter on the car died when we stoped to eat on the way home. It finally started and that was the last for that starter.

Scott thanks again for giving Kelsie a ride. She is still talking about it. She saw the junior dragsters and is now trying to talk Wayne into getting her one. :D

You guys hit River City?

That track is awesome!
I ran the Dakota down there earlier this year and I was impressed with the facility.

A lot nicer than dirty old Darlington dragway.

Ya but they renamed it to San Antonio Raceway. It is a very nice track. Me, Scott, my brother and a few friends and family went to the F-body vs. Mustang shoot out last Friday night. We had four 3rd gen firebirds and my cousin brought his 2002 Silverado to get a good baseline before we install the Kenny Bell supercharger. One of my buddies that went has a 91 GTA with a Kenny Deitweller built Blown 355. Dynoed 506 HP with 8 Lbs boost. He has now upgraded to the Vortec S trim which is capable of about 18 lbs boost. We have not upped the boost yet. Still cant hook what he has up. He broke the blower belt on the first pass so that was the end of his night. I think everyone there with the exception of my cousin set new Personal Best times for ET. Scott has his GTA rocking. He had a lot of people wanting to know what he had. His car has defiantly got 12's in it. I just wish it was not so far to drive. Little River (Temple Academy) is only 45 miles away but it is not near as nice a facility to run at.
